Dr. Christian Geis (Deputy Managing Director VDMA Fluid Power Association) presented the “Fluid Power 4.0” concept in the Solutions Theater, which took place during Hannover Messe USA, parallel to the IMTS – International Manufacturing Technology Show – in Chicago, in September 2022. The question was answered as to what “Industry 4.0” means for fluid power as a supplier industry and what new business models it will enable. In addition to the lecture, interested parties could again touch physical fluid power products, scan their QR codes and explore the associated digital twins.
